Chrysalis is a three-day experience for either teenagers (15-18yrs. old) in 10th through 12th grade or young adults ages 18-24 that provides an opportunity for spiritual growth and renewal through Christian fellowship.
Chrysalis weekends are very similar to Emmaus Walks, with some modifications that are aligned to young people. While much of the subject matter is of course similar, the 15 talks presented over the weekend have a younger focus. Chrysalis equips and challenges youth to develop their relationship with Christ and inspires participants to live their faith in their home, church, school and community.
Chrysalis experiences for teenagers are called flights and Chrysalis experiences for young adults are called journeys. These experiences happen concurrently. There may be no greater experience for a young person than having gone on a Chrysalis Flight. It is an experience they will cherish forever, making lasting friendships that will impact their lives in a positive way.

We are accepting Caterpillar applications for the Winter 2023 Flights. The Young Women’s Flight will be January 14-16, 2023.
The Young Men’s Flight #19 will be February 18-20, 2023 held at Lebanon UMC.
Candlelight begins at 8pm on Sunday, January 15 and Sunday, February 19 in the main church sanctuary – Lebanon UMC.
